To further deepen understanding on Islamic teachings and the implementation of the Syariah Penal Code, especially for tour guides, a Briefing on the Introduction of Islam and the Syariah Penal Code was held this morning. The briefing was organised by the Da'wah Development Division, Islamic Da'wah Centre.

Among those present were Awang Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Acting Director of Islamic Da'wah Centre and Dayang Hajah Nur Fariza Munyati binti Haji Abdul Aji, Acting Director of Tourism Development. 33 tour guides from several travel agencies and freelancers took part in the briefing. Among the topics was the importance of practicing Islamic values in daily life, ensuring that individual rights are always protected and that each case is handled fairly and in an orderly manner.
